It’s snowing here in Madison so my wife and I have stayed home all day, and I made my super secret sorta Peruvian sorta jerk chicken. We also played around with our cats and we’re watching Die Hard which is of course the best Christmas movie.
Not bad, me. Not bad.

The other day someone was complaining about how cold it is here and it was an arctic 45 degrees with abundant sunshine. People in the south are winter wussies.

Say, have you read restaurant man, or waiter rant? I think they ought to be required reading for anybody thinking of getting into the restaurant business.....
Ps, we went to Fresco for dinner and Everly for breakfast. Everly does some original takes on breakfast entree’s .

I like watching them on TV. As for “fine dining,” I think a lot of it can be fussy and overcomplicated for its own sake. Some of it is good of course but I’m more about coming up with the absolute best version of “normal” things. Like, say, a roast chicken.
